TIRE SIDEWALL

205 = Width of the tire in millimeters.
55 = Aspect ratio.
R = Radial construction.
16 = Diameter of the wheel (in inches) that the
tire will be put on.
88 = Number code assigned with the maximum
load of the tire.
V = Speed rating. A "V" rated tire can sustain
speeds up to 149 mph.
XGTV = Manufacturers name for the tread design
and architecture.
Note: Some size designations may begin with a "P" which signifies "Passenger"
